Process of Special Marriage Act-1954 :
For solemnization of marriage (Court marriage), presence of both parties is required after submission of documents of issuance of notice of intended marriage( Notice period time atleast 30 days). A copy of the notice is pasted on the office notice board by the Marriage Officer/SDM.
DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR SPECIAL MARRIAGE IN DELHI :-
1. 4 Passport Size Photographs – four each of Marrying Persons. Boy age should be 21 Complete and Girl age should be 18 Complete at the date of marriage.
2. Residential Proof
3. Date of Birth Proof.
4. If any party is divorcee Certified copy of Decree of Divorce granted by the Court.
5. If any party is widow / widower Death Certificate of the dead spouse.
6. If any party is a Foreign Citizen or holding a foreign Passport or is having foreign residential address,NOC Certificate from concerned Embassy and Valid VISA.
7. THREE Witnesses ( All should be major 18+ of age ) two document required for witness
PAN CARD is must for all three witness
